Madoka Takatori is Chihiro's uncle and takes him in after his mother's passing.
He's an extremely skilled costume designer, known for often turning down prospective clients. As such, he designs costumes not only for Chihiro and Miyako but the idol unit Uchouten Boys too. He seems to be quite skilled at baking, but often leaves the kitchen in a disastrous state when he's done. He is scared of dogs but often picks up stray and abandoned cats despite being allergic.
Madoka has an almost stereotypically elegant appearance, with slightly grown-out blonde hair and blue eyes, which is often contrasted by his slovenliness and stranger fear. All of this makes it difficult for people to figure out that Madoka and Chihiro are relatives.
