The silent daughter of the rich Ono family. Akira's considered popular at school for being multi-talented. Despite this, she sneaks away every so often to the gaming arcades to escape the harsh enviroment at home.
She encounters Harou at the arcades and after their match they begin forming bonds over their love for video games. As Akira never says a word, she communicates mostly with facial expressions, gestures and sometimes punches and kicks.
